Yo No Se Manana

I swear, I'd learn Spanish just to understand the songs that are played.

A new week - another adventure, let's see what we have in store.

- Plovdiv
- Veliko Tarnovo
- Burgas (Buhr-gas, kind of like orgasm)

One of these days I'll find someone to go on adventures with, explore new places and re-visit the old, but for now I play a solid single player almost too well - to the point where it's getting old.

Taking the 204 bus to the "Culture Palace", I started cursing under my breath as I realized I missed my stop.  The driver insisted on driving past a bunch of bridges, roads, and underpasses - "Just stop already, my God!"
There wasn't a single moment to spare, so I ran towards the direction of the Hilton.  A mile later or so, there it was, "Sofia Live Club", a rather snazzy place.  The place fit the description well and I took lead towards the bar for a Bira.  4 Levas beats 4 Euros anyday, by the way.

After dancing a bit and mingling, I took rest, and noticed a rather expressive dancer.  I took heed and paid close attention; this man was the person I was looking for.  He was rather expressive in the way that I can relate to in breakdancing, but sexy.  Hitting beats creatively, calibrating to the music, and being able to play it all off in an intimate manner, I knew he would play an important role in the untold future.  Just like in every dance, one must have a strong foundation, or the rest collapses.    Now I've got to wait and gather experience - I hate the waiting game with a passion.  Oh, and I need to find me a partner I can just try new moves with :)

Walking outside of the club into a concrete jungle soaked in rain, I headed up the stairs to pin down a taxi.  The one in front of the line looked ugly, so I choose the more traditional looking one instead.  I got inside and asked my famous line, "gavoriate li Angliiski?", and the driver responded with a yes.  Bingo.

"What brings you to Bulgaria?"
"Long story"
"Love story or long story?"
"L..."

...

Turns out Niko here, the Taxi driver, was actually a graduate of the Sofia University, specializing in Mathematics.  His business dealing with informatics was shut down as a result of the government.  He expressed his resentment with the government and the corruption, and I followed suite.

Total was 8,86 Leva.  That's some cheap fare.

  2. Good news - I can't find the videos!

    :(

I just walked up to them or talked to them, asking them stuff in Bulgarian. Place was a sweeeeeet venue. My caress attempts were met with spins from the ladies - they thought I was leading into spinning.

Will go more in depth later
